With an extensive background of 10 years, Shazia has been instrumental in making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. Her commitment to excellence is further underscored by her active involvement in the Speech Pathology Australia Executive branch within the disability sector, allowing her to stay at the forefront of best practices.
Throughout her career, Shazia has had the privilege of working with diverse individuals in various settings, including day cares, preschools, schools, universities, homes, and community environments. Her expertise spans across a range of specialised programs, including the Lidcombe Program, Picture Exchange Communication System, and Making Up Lost Time in Literacy (MultiLit) – an intensive reading program designed to enhance reading accuracy, fluency, comprehension, and spelling. Additionally, Shazia is trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Early Intervention, and Positive Behavioural Support.
Driven by a profound understanding of the challenges faced by families seeking therapy services, Shazia embarked on the creation of 'Dreamspire.' This person-centred service stands as a testament to her unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive support and therapy services tailored to the unique needs of each individual. As a Board Certified Behaviour Support Specialist and an Allied Health Assistant Level 3 , Tahnee is passionate about supporting individuals in achieving their communication and behavioural goals.
Tahnee has spent over five years working under the direct guidance of a Speech Pathologist, gaining extensive hands-on experience in communication-based interventions. While she is not a Speech Pathologist herself, this experience has equipped her with the skills to conduct therapy sessions and implement communication strategies effectively. Her work prioritises enhancing communication, expression, and engagement for the individuals she supports.
Tahnee's dedication is reflected in her academic achievements, having completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Graduate Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis, and Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis. She has also received specialised training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Devices, Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS), Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Early Intervention, and Positive Behaviour Support.
With experience as a Behaviour Therapist, Tahnee has supported individuals across a range of settings. Before this, she worked as a Student Learning Support Officer (SLSO), assisting students with diverse needs in Behavioural Intervention Schools and Schools for Specific Purposes (SSP).
Tahnee's passion for her work is deeply personal, inspired by her family and friends who work in disability support, mental health, aged care, and domestic violence services. She is committed to empowering individuals through communication and behavioural support, ensuring they have the tools to express themselves and thrive.

Lara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology and has spent the past three years working closely with individuals of all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults. Her approach is client-centred and family-focused, ensuring that each individual receives tailored support to enhance their communication and overall quality of life.
With a strong foundation in speech, language, and social communication therapies, Lara is committed to helping individuals overcome challenges related to speech clarity, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and social interaction. Lara also has a keen interest in speech pathology research and has actively contributed as a research student assistant, assisting in data collection and analysis to expand the evidence base of the field.
